Here we are, nearing the beginning of Spring and what is the most important thing on everyone’s mind? Why, their gardens of course! Well, starting a garden of my own this year, it is definitely on my mind. But, for so many beginner gardeners, well… we just do not know what to do or where to begin.
Keeping our yards at our best only adds to the beauty of Netherwood Heights. So, whether you are planning to grow vegetables, flowers, or both. Working with a small, medium, or large space. There is always a way to improve your yard and so many useful resources out there to learn from.
There are many helpful blogs and gardening events that we can read or attend. I will definitely post these as I come across them.
I would love to hear what others are doing or have done to start their gardens. Any tips/comments on vegetable and flower gardens are greatly appreciated (I REALLY need the help!).
Right here in Plainfield on Saturday June 1st, the Plainfield Garden Club will be giving tours of The Shakespeare Garden located in Cedar Brook Park from 10am-1pm. What is really exciting for me, starting a garden of my own, the lovely folks of the Plainfield Garden Club will be selling plants that day as well! Please click here to learn more about this wonderful event.
Until the next time,
Queen
