You’re invited to this special viewing of Sidney Poitier in “Lilies of the Field”.
The holiday feature of The Sidney Poitier Film Festival, “Lilies of the Field,” will be presented on Wednesday, December 11 at 6:30 pm in the fabulous screening facility at the Plainfield Public Library.
“Lilies of the Field” is the classic film for which Poitier won the Academy Award as Best Actor—the first African-American to do so!
Films will be following by discussion, led by Councilwoman Rebecca Williams and others.
Presented by Friends of the Plainfield Public Library (FOPPL).
The library is located at 800 Park Avenue.
