We wanted to pass along that this Saturday, October 5th is the 3rd Annual Historic Queen City Walk/Run for Life. The event starts at 9AM, and there will be some street closures of which you might want to note.
The run starts at Police Headquarters. From there, it travels down Fourth Street to Plainfield Avenue, where it then takes West Eighth Street to Park. From Park Ave the run will head to Evergreen Ave, and then left onto Hillside Ave until it meets Watchung Ave. That’s the home stretch, as the course continues on Watchung Ave, heading back to City Hall and the finish line.
To all of walkers and runners participating, good luck! And for everyone else, don’t forget to cheer them on!
