It is with a heavy heart that we share this update about a very dear and close Netherwood friend, Gary Beyer.
Gary James Beyer, 70, of Plainfield died on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
Gary was born in Jersey City and resided in Rahway and Metuchen for many years before moving to Plainfield 11 years ago. He was a Ford model and member of the Screen Actors Guild. Gary was a member of St. Bernard and Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Plainfield where he was a member of the choir.
Surviving are his partner of 18 years Michael Blasi and two brothers George Scott Beyer and Gerald J. Beyer Sr.
Services will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 9:00 AM from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen; followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard and St. Stanislaus RC Church. Cremation will be private. Visitation is Wednesday from 5-9 PM.
