Sunday, December 16 – 5 PM at the Netherwood Island on Berkeley Avenue.
Netherwood Heights Neighbors has a big secret. We know Santa is looking to make an early visit to our neighborhood to hand out presents to good girls and boys! Santa’s sleigh is still up at the North Pole, so he will arrive with his Plainfield firefighter friends on a fire engine.
5 PM neighbors will gather; Santa arrives shortly after
AFTER-PARTY: Be sure the children stop by Nancy and Jo’s house, 1201 Denmark Avenue, for the After-Santa party! Everyone is welcome.
Parents, drop off a small gift for each child attending; the gift should cost no more than $10. Please wrap and clearly label the gift with the child’s first and last name. All gifts should be brought to Jen and Wayne at 815 Berkeley Ave. by the 15th of December. If no one is home, just leave the gift on the covered front porch.
Volunteers for light appetizers/desserts for the after-party would also be most appreciated!
If there is a neighbor with children who may not receive our updates, please let them know about this fun and fabulous holiday event!
And kids, stop by the Netherwood Island with your parents to drop off your
LETTER TO SANTA to tell him how good you’ve been all year. Just look for
the red mailbox! Be sure to include a self-addressed envelope for a personal reply from Santa’s workshop! #Netherwood_Santa
