Football might be on your mind today, but we wanted to give you some notice and get you to add the Wednesday night movie screening at The Plainfield Public Library to your calendar.
Neighbor Rebecca shares: The Sidney Poitier Film Festival continues during Black History Month, with the classic screen comedy, “Uptown Saturday Night”, featuring an all-star cast, including Bill Cosby, Harry Belafonte, Rosalind Cash, Richard Pryor, Flip Wilson, Paula Kelly, Calvin Lockhart, and more! The film wiil be presented on Wednesday, February 12th at 6:30 PM in the Anne Louise Davis room at the library.
If time allows, the film will be followed by a brief discussion led by Councilwoman Rebecca Williams. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
